Markets In Century City You Have To Visit

Cape Town has many excellent farmers markets and craft markets to visit – you can find our favourites here. But our very own Century City has a couple great ones that are a much closer alternative!

Century City Natural Goods Market

Located in Central Park, the Century City Natural Goods Market takes place the last Sunday of every month in the summer. Central Park is only a 10-minute walk away from our hotel, meaning that you can get all your essential products quickly and easily. Whether you are in search of fresh, local produce, gourmet preserves and wine, fashionable clothing, or health and beauty products, this market has it all.

Century City Winter Night Market

Hosted by the same folks as the Natural Goods Market, the popular Century City Winter Night Market is back this winter. Between 16:00 and 21:00 on the last Friday of the month, you can find the best products and a warm fire at the Intaka Island Eco Centre. Grab a cup of gluhwein or a hot chocolate and browse the cosy knits, fresh produce, and comforting scents. Finish the night off with some delicious comfort food, while listening to the musical artists that are performing that month. Confirmed dates for 2023 are 30 June, 28 July, and 25 August.

Century City Summer Night Market

The market also has a summer night version which runs through the warmer months. Located less than 5 minutes away in the Century City Urban Square, this market takes place on the second Friday of each month, from 16:00 until 21:00. You can find fresh summer produce, light clothes, and delicious food and drink, while entertainment is provided by various musicians. Confirmed dates for 2023 are 8 September, 13 October, 10 November, and 8 December.
