Grand West is a great location for fun, entertainment, and relaxation for the whole family. We’re here to tell you all about the hub of entertainment that is only 10 kilometres away from our hotel.

Grand West is of course most well-known as a casino. There are 2 105 smart card slot machines and 54 tables offering different games to play. There are both smoking and non-smoking areas, enabling you to choose whichever one you are most comfortable with. Both slots and tables are open 24/7 and there are often promotional events happening.

The location is, however, so much more than just a casino. There are over 20 restaurants, bars, and fast-food joints for any and all cravings you might have. Often, Grand West has world-renowned music artists, comedians, and other performers performing in their Grand Arena.

As for family entertainment, Grand West is home to the CineCentre where you can watch the latest blockbusters with a box of popcorn in hand. The Ice Station is an Olympic-size indoor ice-skating rink open to everyone, no matter their skills on the ice. This has been the location of many kids’ parties and first dates, as well as a good laugh for friends. The rink is closed sometimes for figure-skating classes and ice hockey tournaments. There is also a smaller, supervised rink for children of 5 years and younger. Be sure to check when the rink is open, as they do have set hours where it is open to the public.

Grand West also has an arcade for all ages to enjoy. The Magic Arcade has over 300 games to play and has loads of prizes up for grabs. This is where you will find the 12 ten-pin bowling lanes and virtual bowling machines. There are virtual experiences with the X Rider, as well as Lazer Tag. Melela’s Kids Corner is a supervised creche for kids aged between 2 and 12 and offers a wide range of games for your children while you try your hand at the casino or catch up with friends over lunch.
